One-Shot Wonders: NEW YEAR 1999

From Pilipino Funny Komiks #394 (January 3, 1986), New Year 1999 was written by Christian del Cruz and illustrated by Romy Santos.  Almost a companion piece to del Cruz's Christmas story from the previous issue, this tells the tale of two time travelers from 1985 who journey to the year 1999 to witness the aftermath of World War III.  What they find instead is a future not quite like what they expected.

    This is a story of two time travelers back into the future set in the 21st century 2000AD a period of time and space the year of jubilant times after the nuclear war the world is going to be different int the distant future they will survive then they will return to 20 th century to 1986 is the celebration of the fall of Pres.Marcos from power and Cory Aquino becomes the First Lady opposition president
    since 1986-92 then to Pres.Ramos then Pres.Estrada and now Pres.Gloria Arroyo(2001-10) until Noynoy Aquino(2010-16) until history is just the beginning. Inspired from HG Wells scifi novel The Time Machine to travel beyond time and space even travel
