Created by veteran writer/artist Rod Santiago, Asero ("Steel") first appeared in Ace Superheroes #5 (June 29, 1995), published by Adventures Illustrated Magazines, Inc.
"MAN OF STEEL TALAGA.
HINDI NGA LANG SIYA LUMILIPAD."
Hector Zuniga is a private detective leading a double life. Whenever he shouts "Asero, ngayon!" ("Asero, now!"), he transforms into the super-strong, seemingly-indestructable crimefighter, Asero.

Asero possesses superhuman strength, and his steel-hard skin renders him impervious to most forms of harm. The most vulnerable part of his body is his eyes. The origin of his powers is unknown.

MASKULADO
Don Paco's armored, hammer-fisted henchman.
He should have included goggles as a part of his costume. Duh.
ReplyDeleteRod Santiago did his fair share of superheroes. I hope you get to feature Balbon. Now that was a very weird superhero(ine).
Considering he sometimes wore metal trunks, maybe his eyes weren't his only weak spot.
ReplyDeleteI know of Balbon, but unfortunately, I don't have any of her comics. Yeah, she was weird, she got her powers from her body hair. Kinda grossed me out, maybe that's why I didn't buy her comic.
